Shoud've specifed I mean when it's the traditional Big Ten #1 vs. the Pac Ten #1.
OSU may tuck tail and start reliving last year after that TD.
Late 90's. OSU/ASU. That's when Plummer was at ASU. That was a great game. Wisconsin has been in a couple good ones since then.
This game sure would be alot more fun it you'd took UGA/USC and let the winner of that game play the winner of LSU/OSU.
That was a nice pic. If OSU doesn't watch out it's going to be another beatdown. It's getting ready to get ugly.
I agree PVFan. Dang its too bad there isn't a playoff.
That ASU/OSU was a great game. Plummer led ASU down for what looked like the winning TD and then OSU came drove 80 yards I believe in less than 2 minutes to win.
The Big 10 is currently receiving the "Notre Dame Treatment" in my opinion - in other words whoever comes out on top in that conference is going to be playing for the national championship without competing in a conference championship - unlike what most of the other major conferences are having to face. It's stacking the deck in favor of the Big 10 along with ESPN's love affair with their conference. I'm not a big SEC fan, but we all seen what their Heisman campaigning did to voters when Charles Woodson won the award over Peyton Manning years ago. With ABC having a contract with Big 10 football and also being the parent company of ESPN, it's no wonder. Even though tOSU has a what - a 0-9 running record against SEC teams within bowls - ESPN's so-called analysts were in agreement with each other on another radio show made the comment this week that with the Michigan win over Florida and if tOSU defeated LSU tonight - this would indicate that the Big 10 would be the current national gridiron power. I could say some of the same for the PAC-10, but they don't have as much of the politics behind them although they are still a media favorite as well.
College basketball's national championship tournament to me is one of the most exciting sporting events today, if not the biggest. The manner that the champion is determined by this process is crowning a true champion. College football's process makes a mockery of the game, ruled by the almighty dollar. It's getting more difficult for me to get excited about the college bowl season with how it's ran by the powers-that-be. I'm turned off by the media influence and Big Money that brings obvious bias into the selection process when there aren't clear national championship contenders that stand out from the rest of the field.
That announcers a moron. He scored without the second effort.
